CURVING BACK
Curving back upon myself, I create again and again… Bhagavad Gita

66" x 78", acrylic on canvas
The title comes from a line in the Bhagavad Gita describing the generation of the material world. On top of a grid of number systems from many cultures, a girl spins in front of a chalkboard. Other layered references to spinning include a cyclone diagram, a DNA double helix, sine waves of planetary movement, and Muybridge dancers.
